What My Clients Have to Say

Janet.jpg

It’s hard to know where to begin to tell you what my life was like before Wendy.
I had been suffering with fibromyalgia and hypertension for about 20 years, I didn’t think there was much to be done but knew I didn’t want to go with traditional medicine. I found a nurse practitioner that would work with a more holistic plan. I did research and knew I needed to keep moving or it would only get worse. I had horrible flares and horrible pain and did not sleep well. I did my best to not let people know how bad I hurt.  I chose to smile and make sure to the best of my ability to not let it show.  Many people would say you don’t look sick, but deep down I would say, if only they knew.  It was hard to go visit my grandchildren or family because I felt so horrible. I will never forget when my daughter called me to tell me my granddaughter said you know who I miss? And my daughter said no who, she said Nana and then my grandson said, did Nana die?  And I am sure their older brother missed me too along with time I was not spending with ALL my family. It was then I decided I just needed to go be with them more and tell them they would need to be gentle with Nana and we would cuddle and snuggle and watch movies.  My lifestyle was forever changed. I cried thinking my grandson thought I had died, as it was, it was all I could do to make it through work and then get home and house cleaning was the last thing I thought about, but I must make the time to be with my family.  This was my life, not something I chose, but something it seemed would be my life going forward.
I decided walking and trying to eat right was a must, but I would fall back into the old rut and eat things that were not good for me.  I would tell myself I was too tired to cook so I would go through the fast food drive through, certainly not the best choice for my body.  I fractured my hand 2 ½ years ago and was given medication for swelling and pain, I gained 45 pounds in two months and my blood pressure went sky high. I thought I was destined to be this way the rest of my life.  I weaned myself off the bad meds for my hand but was left with a really puffy body and the doc was trying all kinds of blood pressure meds to get that down. I felt like a science experiment with not much success.
I am a Facebook junky and this post kept popping up from Wendy Corr. Finally, after seeing it for a few times I contacted her and asked if we could meet.  It was then I learned it could get better. She started me on the 40-day Daniel Plan, a Bible based program that I knew I could do, so prayerfully I made the decision to go for it. I was making progress and feeling so much better. The inflammation was still an issue so then Wendy proposed I try the “exclusion diet” which took even more foods out of my food plan. So again, prayerfully I made the decision to do it. What amazing results, this did the trick.  All the inflammatory foods were taken out and gradually my body started to heal.  She introduced me to Do Terra products and my life changed again.  What a wonder these supplements and oils are, they literally have started to heal my body along with eating CLEAN!  I have done two cleanses and again my body responded and healed more.  I am convinced these cleanses have cleaned out all those horrible medications.  I will do another cleanse soon and know my “gut” will heal even more.  So now I have cut out caffeine, sugar, white flour, pasta, dairy, citrus, nightshade vegetables, beef and drink tons of water.  I am gradually re-introducing foods back into my food plan and it’s amazing to see what foods are not good for my system.  This will be a slow journey for a while seeing what works and what doesn’t.  I am patient and am happy with the way my life is now.  My blood pressure is now down to normal, I am sleeping so much better and another great side effect is I have lost 40 pounds with more melting off gradually.  We are still talking about going vegan, a step I am still praying about.  I now have the energy to be with my grandchildren and I have been nick named the Nana Uber, I get paid in hugs and kisses, what could be better?
So, you ask what does she eat?  Well, chicken, turkey, fish, brown/wild rice, quinoa, all the veggies and fruit I love; I am not deprived by any means and my body is happy.  I love fruit smoothies in the morning and enjoy tasting the great food God has provided and the way he intended us to eat, CLEAN with no preservatives.  If it was made by a plant, eat it, if it was made in a plant, don’t eat it.
I have gained a great coach, friend and confidant in Wendy!  She will find a way to help you and research what is best for YOU!  Everyone is different, everyone will not have the same issues I have, but I know by eating the right FOOD you can heal your body and live a wonderful life!  And I forgot to mention, YES, you do need to do some sort of exercise, walking and deep breathing isometric exercises are my favorite, but I am learning to add more.  God put this wonderful woman in my life and I pray if you need help call on her, she knows what she is doing.  I just love Wendy, she truly is a God send to me for which I am ever so very grateful!!!!
